Mironivska 45

Red meadow clover variety Mironovska 45 is an early maturing, drought-resistant, and winter-hardy variety intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine. Plants reach a height of 49 to 72 cm, have a slender stem with 5-6 internodes, and upright or slightly spreading branching. Leaves are trifoliate with a characteristic pattern, leaflet length is 30-45 mm, width — 18-24 mm. Inflorescences are medium-sized heads with light-red flowers, and seeds are egg-shaped with yellowish-blue coloration, with 1000-seed mass ranging from 1.80 to 1.88 g.

The yield of this variety is high: green mass reaches 955 centners per hectare, and hay — 219.2 centners per hectare. Leaf mass in the first cut hay ranges from 52.5 to 54.9%, and in the second cut — from 56.8 to 67.5%. Protein content in the first cut hay is approximately 17.1-17.3%, and fiber — 27.6-28.8%. In the second cut, protein content increases to 17.7-19.2%, while fiber decreases to 25.9-26.4%. The vegetative period from the start of spring growth to the first cut lasts 54-62 days, from the first to the second cut — 32-46 days, and until full seed maturity — 102-124 days.

Variety Mironovska 45 exhibits high resistance to adverse weather conditions, including drought and winter frosts, making it a reliable choice for agricultural production. Due to its high nutritional content and significant leaf mass in hay, this clover is a valuable forage plant, contributing to improved animal feed quality. It is recommended for sowing in areas with appropriate climatic conditions, ensuring stable and high yields.
