VENETZ

Alfalfa of the field variety VENETZ is a diploid two-cut variety intended for use in feed agriculture. It is characterized by an early maturity period and a medium-height plant type with a height of about 60 cm, medium stem thickness, and weak hairiness. Leaves are of medium size with pink inflorescences and medium leafiness of about 60%, which contributes to high productivity and grassland stability. Seeds of the variety are multicolored, and plants have a medium number of white marks on the leaves.

The VENETZ variety is distinguished by high dry matter yield, which in many regions exceeds average standards. In the North-West region, the maximum yield reached 200.8 ц/га, which is significantly higher than standard indicators. In other regions, the yield is also consistently high, making this variety a reliable choice for agronomists. During the vegetation period, alfalfa is capable of forming three full cuts of green mass, starting from the beginning of June and ending by the end of August.

In addition to high productivity, the variety has high winter hardiness, drought resistance, and resistance to lodging, which ensures stable quality and quantity of feed mass. VENETZ is recommended for use as feed for livestock, and is also suitable for planting in orchards and gardens. Its nutritional properties and good taste make it a valuable component of feed lands.
