Description
The Borisfen 430 AMV hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases and pests, including smut diseases, helminthosporiosis, blister and ear-leaf rust, Fusarium rot, and corn borer. Due to higher anthocyanin content in the stalks, plants tolerate short-term spring frosts well. High lodging resistance (9 points) allows for late harvest without significant yield losses. The hybrid has good water use efficiency and is suitable for intensive cultivation technologies involving mineral fertilizers and irrigation.
Borisfen 430 AMV is versatile in use: it is suitable for grain production with potential yields of 8–14 tons per hectare, as well as silage production, providing high yields of green mass with elevated dry matter content up to 35%. It is recommended to avoid monoculture planting and apply post-emergence herbicides according to plant growth stages. Optimal planting density varies depending on conditions — from 60 to 70 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid is an original Ukrainian product with confirmed quality and certifications.
