Description
DN Sinewir demonstrates high yield potential, reaching up to 11.5–14.3 t/ha depending on growing conditions. Best results are achieved in forest-steppe and Polissia regions, as well as in steppe areas of Ukraine. The hybrid exhibits moderate water-use efficiency during grain maturation and accelerated dry matter accumulation, which is particularly valuable for northern ecotypes. It shows high cold tolerance, enabling successful growth even during sudden spring frosts, and also possesses heat- and drought-resistance.
Throughout the entire vegetation period, plants remain resistant to diseases and pests, reducing the risk of yield loss. The hybrid responds well to seeding density and is recommended for cultivation with plant density at harvest time: 60,000 per hectare in steppe regions, 80,000 in forest-steppe regions, and 90,000 in Polissia. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and stable yield, DN Sinewir is a reliable choice for farmers focused on producing quality grain and silage.

Dual-purpose hybrids: for silage and grain in all growing regions. These are "stay-green" type hybrids, meaning the plants remain green for a longer period. However, this does not affect the sugar, cellulose, and hemicellulose content, nor the degree of lignification of the plant... |
