The DOC MV corn hybrid is a high-yielding mid-early variety with FAO 260-270, suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesie, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. The plant reaches a height of 220-230 cm, exhibits weak bushiness and high resistance to lodging and stem breakage. It has approximately 16 leaves on the main stem, with an ear attachment height of 80-90 cm. The cylindrical ear is 21-23 cm long with a well-developed tip, containing 16 rows of kernels, each with 36-40 kernels. The kernels are yellow and dent-shaped, with a 1000-kernel weight of 250-260 g. This hybrid demonstrates high resistance to major diseases and pests, as well as moderate resistance to cold and drought, making it a reliable choice for diverse growing conditions. The potential grain yield reaches 12.5-14.0 t/ha, while silage yield varies from 45 to 60 t/ha. Seeds are treated with fungicides and insecticides, providing additional protection for plants during early development. The recommended planting density at harvest is 65-85 thousand plants per hectare, depending on the region. The DOC MV hybrid features vigorous growth and adaptability to varying soil nutrient levels and rainfall amounts. The grain matures on green stalks and leaves, which helps preserve yield quality.
