Hybrid 195 SV

Hybrid 195 SV is an early-maturing three-line corn hybrid with FAO 190, intended for universal use as grain and silage. The hybrid is included in the State Register in several regions of Russia, including Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, and West Siberian regions. Plants reach a height of 240–260 cm, with the ear attached at 80–85 cm. The ear is weakly conical, 20–25 cm long, with a white stalk partially colored with anthocyanin. Kernels have intermediate consistency, closer to dent, yellow and yellow-orange in color, with 14–16 rows. The 1000-kernel weight is approximately 270 g.

The hybrid exhibits high cold tolerance and resistance to stem breakage below the ear during vegetation. It shows resistance to southern helminthosporium, is lightly affected by ear bacterial disease and corn stalk borer. Hybrid 195 SV is characterized by good plant uniformity in height and simultaneous development of growth phases, contributing to stable yields. Optimal plant density under adequate moisture is 75–80 thousand plants per hectare, and under insufficient moisture — around 60 thousand.

Yield of the hybrid varies by region, reaching or exceeding standard levels. In the Central Chernozem region, average grain yield reaches 63.3 c/ha, in the Volga-Vyatka region — 68.3 c/ha, in the Middle Volga region — 100.9 c/ha. At the Voronezh branch, grain yield was 7.8 t/ha, silage mass — 44.3 t/ha, normalized dry matter — 25 t/ha. The hybrid responds well to fertilizer application, allowing increased productivity with proper agronomic practices.
