Kiparis

Kiparis corn is a mid-early three-line hybrid with a starchy kernel type, intended for intensive cultivation. Plants reach a height of 260-270 cm, with ears attached at a height of 85-95 cm. The kernels are characterized by a yellow-orange upper part and orange lower part, with a 1000-kernel weight of 300-310 g, 14 rows, and 30-34 kernels per row. The hybrid is distinguished by its plasticity and high resistance to adverse environmental factors, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. Kiparis is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions, and is included in the State Register for the Central Chernozem and Middle Volga regions. It is suitable for both grain and silage purposes. The average dry matter content in plants is approximately 36.5-39.2%, contributing to high-quality silage. The yield potential reaches 140 ц/ha, with maximum recorded yields of up to 328 ц/ha in some farms. The hybrid is characterized by rapid water drainage, facilitating harvest and reducing yield losses. The recommended planting density varies depending on conditions: 75-85 thousand plants per hectare under favorable conditions and 55-65 thousand under adverse conditions. Morphological features such as a small leaf blade angle relative to the stem and weak anthocyanin coloring indicate its adaptability and resistance.
