KRAZNOARSKIY 620 SV — this is a late-maturing hybrid of corn (Zea mays L.), belonging to the grain-fed group and having a universal use direction. The variety was registered in 1988 and is intended for cultivation in various regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, including the republics of Adygea, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Crimea, North Ossetia-Alania, Chechnya, as well as Rostov Oblast and Stavropol Krai. The hybrid is characterized by a complex genetic structure and high adaptability to local climatic conditions.

The plant reaches a height of 276–280 cm and does not form bushes. The ear is located at a height of 100–110 cm, has a cylindrical shape about 22 cm long, with 16–18 rows of kernels and 45–47 kernels per row. The kernel is toothed, yellow in color, and the 1000-kernel weight is 280–290 g. A distinctive feature of the variety is the red ear stalk. The vegetation period lasts 132–134 days, corresponding to a late maturity date. The hybrid demonstrates good drought resistance, allowing for stable yields even under conditions of insufficient moisture.

The grain yield at harvest reaches 80%, and the yield in Krasnodar in 2004 was 105.9 centners per hectare for grain and 450 centners per hectare for silage mass. The optimal plant density on the field is 50–60 thousand per hectare, which helps to maximize the hybrid's potential.
