Description
Plants reach a height of 200-220 cm, with ear attachment height of 110-120 cm. The ear contains 12-14 rows of kernels, with 38-42 kernels per row, and the 1000-kernel weight is 280-300 g. The hybrid demonstrates high yields under production conditions — from 6.7 to 9.2 tons per hectare. Seeds are treated with fungicides and insecticides, providing protection against diseases and pests.
Ray 170 MV exhibits high resistance to adverse factors: cold, drought, and lodging resistance are rated at 9 points. The hybrid is also resistant to diseases such as anthracnose, rust, and helminthosporium, as well as corn borer. Rapid early development and high stress tolerance make this hybrid a reliable choice for various agroclimatic conditions. The recommended planting density at harvest time is 70-80 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to maximum productivity.
