Description
Hybrid Vector MV possesses several important agronomic advantages. It is characterized by high cold tolerance, allowing early planting at soil temperatures of 8–10°С. Additionally, the hybrid shows a tendency to produce two ears and positively responds to increased nitrogen fertilizer rates. Resistance traits include protection against gray leaf spot, rust, gummy disease, stalk and root rot, and corn borer. The hybrid is also resistant to lodging and drought, ensuring stable yields under varying conditions.
Morphological characteristics of corn hybrid Vector MV include plant height of 235–255 cm, kernel rows per ear 16–18, kernels per row 38–51, ear attachment height 120–135 cm, and 1000-kernel weight 280–325 g. Vegetative period is 120–135 days. Practical trials demonstrated high yields, for example, in the Zhytomyr region, it reached 14.1 t/ha. All these qualities make Vector MV a reliable and efficient choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable corn yields.
