"Impact 500," produced by FMS Ukraine, is centered on flutriafol, a triazole fungicide recognized for its superior mobility within plant tissues. Unlike many conventional fungicides, this active ingredient exhibits exceptional translocation properties. Upon application, it rapidly permeates the epidermal layer and moves acropetally (upward) through the xylem to the plant's actively growing points, ensuring that new foliage is shielded from fungal pathogens even after the initial spray.

Technical Specifications and Formulation

• Formulation: As a suspension concentrate, it offers excellent adhesion properties, even on the waxy cuticle of cereal crops like winter wheat and barley.
• Systemic Action: The active ingredient inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis within fungal cells, causing the collapse of the pathogen's membrane. This is essential for controlling powdery mildew and rust diseases.
• High Concentration: With 500 g/L of active ingredient, the product allows for highly efficient dosage rates ranging from 0.125 to 0.25 L/ha, reducing logistical volume and soil chemical load.

Field Performance and Application

Impact 500 demonstrates reliable performance against a broad spectrum of diseases, including helminthosporiosis, septoria, phoma, and rhynchosporiosis. When used on winter and spring wheat, rye, barley, or fodder beet, the fungicide provides both therapeutic and preventative benefits. A maximum of two applications per season allows for precise control during critical growth stages, preventing premature senescence of the canopy. While categorized as a Class 2 hazard substance, strict adherence to application protocols ensures optimal selectivity and protection for the target crop.
