A dual strike against fungal pathogens through a potent combination of difenoconazole and penconazole.
Description
Triazole synergy for crop protection
The efficacy of "Skorazol" by Nertus is rooted in the combination of two active ingredients: difenoconazole and penconazole. As a systemic fungicide belonging to the triazole class, it works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol in fungal cells. Unlike monocomponent agents, this specific blend of compounds with varying degrees of mobility ensures an immediate "stop effect" and long-lasting protection for plant tissues.
Technical Breakdown
- Difenoconazole: characterized by high systemic activity. It quickly penetrates the leaf cuticle, providing curative action even post-infection. It is exceptionally effective against scab and various leaf spots.
- Penconazole: exhibits pronounced translaminar action. It efficiently suppresses the development of powdery mildew and oidium, preventing pathogen sporulation.
The emulsion concentrate formulation ensures uniform coverage across the leaf surface and high adhesion, which is critical for crops with waxy cuticles, such as grapes or apples. The product demonstrates excellent results when applied to cucumbers, strawberries, raspberries, peaches, and sweet cherries.
Regulation and Safety
To achieve maximum efficacy, Skorazol should be used within a program of up to 4 treatments per season. Its systemic mode of action allows the agent to move within the plant, protecting even new growth. The application rate is up to 0.5 L/ha. It is vital to observe the pre-harvest interval: the final application must occur no later than 20 days before harvest. The fungicide is classified under hazard class 3, requiring standard safety precautions when handling agrochemicals.
