With three active ingredients—bixafen, prothioconazole, and tebuconazole—it covers almost the entire spectrum of threats we encounter during the spring and summer cycles.

Field Application Experience

Our main focus is managing the complex of blotches and rusts. Entering wheat or barley fields after winter, it is crucial not to miss the onset of Septoria or Rhynchosporium. The product works systemically: it is absorbed quickly and protects the leaf from within. Here is what we’ve noted in the field:

The synergy between pyrazolecarboxamides and triazoles provides a powerful «stop effect». Rust (especially yellow rust) and powdery mildew seem to halt development immediately after application. It is worth noting its performance against Fusarium head blight; here, Skyway Xpro 275 EC acts as a reliable barrier, preventing grain quality loss right before the harvest.

Practical Aspects

As operators, we appreciate the formulation: an emulsifiable concentrate. It mixes easily with water, does not clog sprayer nozzles, and remains stable in tank mixes. The hazard class 2 requires strict adherence to safety protocols—protective gear and respirators are mandatory, which is standard for professional-grade plant protection products. Owners should remember: while systemic effect is excellent, preventive foliar application always yields better results than attempting to «rescue» an already heavily infected plant.
