Professional seed treatment for winter cereals and pulses

"Teviron" is a systemic fungicidal seed dressing produced by the "Agrochemical Factory" (Cherkasy, Ukraine). It is designed to secure high plant density by eliminating seed-borne and soil-borne pathogens before they can compromise crop yields. The formula combines thiabendazole and flutriafol, creating a reliable barrier for crops like winter wheat, barley, rye, oats, and peas.

Practical application and target diseases

Agronomists incorporate Teviron into their pre-sowing protocols to combat high-risk diseases that affect early crop development. Its systemic action allows the active ingredients to be absorbed by the germinating seed, protecting the developing root system and shoots. The product is highly effective against:

• Root rots (including Fusarium-induced);
• Smut diseases;
• Helminthosporium leaf spot and Septoria;
• Powdery mildew;
• Seed mold.

By ensuring that the seed coat is thoroughly treated with the emulsion, growers create a protective zone around the seed in the soil. This is particularly vital for winter crops, where early protection is essential for successful germination and overwintering.

Application and Dosage

The recommended application rate is 0.5–1 liter per ton of seed. As a systemic fungicide formulated as an emulsion, Teviron ensures excellent coverage and persistence on the seed surface. The product is designed for a single application. With a Class 3 toxicity rating, it balances safety for field operations with high fungicidal efficiency. Careful calibration of the treatment equipment is advised to ensure optimal distribution of the active substances.
