Mechanism of Action and Efficacy

The primary technical advantage of Varos is its ability to interfere with the fungal cell division process (mitosis) at the metaphase stage. Because the active ingredient is systemic, it translocates within the plant tissue, protecting not only the treated areas but also new growth occurring after application. Simultaneously, the contact component provides a surface-level barrier that inhibits spore germination, preventing infection before it begins.
