Description
Bastardo Magarachsky is a technical grape variety widely distributed in Moldova, Ukraine, Central Asia, Romania, and Italy. Bushes are characterized by short internodes and medium-sized leaves with a five-lobed shape, lyrate incisions, and sparse cobwebby-hirsute indumentum on the lower surface. Young shoots are light brown with dark brown nodes, and the shoot crown is covered with white indumentum with a bright raspberry border. The vine ripens well, and the vegetative period is about 146 days at a sum of active temperatures of 2881°C. Bunches of the variety are cylindro-conical or conical, of medium size, with a length of 11-14 cm and a width of 9-11 cm, with varying density. The average bunch weight reaches 176 g. Berries are oval, dark blue, covered with a dense pruina, have a greenish juicy pulp without a pronounced aroma. Berry size is medium or small, 100 berries weigh about 160 g, and each berry contains 2-4 seeds. Autumn leaf coloration is yellow with wine-red spots, and strong suckers often develop on bushes. The variety differs in resistance to fungal diseases such as downy mildew and powdery mildew, but is susceptible to grey rot. Yield is average - about 107.1 c/ha, with maximum indicators up to 182.1 c/ha. Bastardo Magarachsky is used for the production of semi-sweet and dry wines, and is also suitable for consumption fresh, which makes it a universal and sought-after technical grape variety.

Yield
Overall bulb harvest per unit area. Depends on both onion variety characteristics and agronomic practices, fertilizers, and irrigation. Under optimal growing conditions, an onion yield of 100 tons per hectare and above is not considered record-breaking. |
