MANJIL AL

Manjil Al is an autochthonous Crimean grape variety belonging to the eastern table varieties. It is characterized by medium-sized bushes and high yield. The grapes ripen in the third decade of September, which allows their use in fresh form at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. This variety is grown on the slopes of Mount Manjil, which imparts special taste qualities and adaptation to local climatic conditions.

The leaves of Manjil Al are of medium size, round, with three or five lobes, with a wavy or slightly corrugated lamina. The leaf petiole is open, lyrate or sagittate with an acute base. The flowers are perfect, which contributes to good pollination and crop formation. The clusters are of medium size, cylindrical or cylindro-conical, sometimes with wings, of medium density.

The berries are large, oval-shaped, light green in color with rare small brown dots and a dense waxy bloom. The flesh is juicy and spreading, with a simple taste, while the skin is thick and sturdy, ensuring good preservation of the fruits. The sugar content of the juice reaches 17-20 g/100 cm³, and the acidity is 5-6 g/dm³. Shoot ripening in the variety is good, resistance to fungal diseases is average, which requires certain care, but does not reduce the variety's attractiveness for cultivation.
