The «Podarok Nesvetaya» grape variety is a breeding product focused on obtaining ultra-early marketable produce with pronounced dessert characteristics. Developed by a team of breeders led by L.P. Troshin (in cooperation with FGBNU FRANTs and Kuban State Agrarian University) and adapted for propagation by Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin, this variety demonstrates high adaptability to various climatic zones.
Key Technical Parameters
- Vegetation Rate: The ultra-early ripening period (95–105 days) allows avoiding the peak of fungal disease development and harvesting during the period of maximum market prices.
- Vine Morphology: It possesses strong growth vigor, requiring the formation of a robust vine framework (fan or cordon system). The bisexual flower type ensures stable pollination without pea-sized berries, which is critical for forming a high-quality cluster.
- Cluster and Berry Characteristics: The cylindrical-conical cluster weighs 500–800 g and tends to be dense with proper agrotechnics. The 5–8 g berry has a characteristic dark blue color, dense skin, and fleshy texture.
- Stress Resistance: The ability to withstand temperatures down to -24°C makes the variety suitable for cultivation in temperate climate regions, reducing vine covering costs.
