Astralid, produced by Yangzhou Pioneer Chemical Co. Ltd., is a systemic, selective herbicide designed for the modern agricultural sector. Primarily used in cereal crops, maize, oilseed rape, and fodder beet, it has become a staple for farmers managing fields infested with persistent perennial weeds. The formulation relies on clopyralid, a highly effective active ingredient that addresses the most difficult-to-control flora.

Mechanism and Targeted Weeds

As a foliar-applied herbicide, Astralid translocates throughout the plant system, reaching the roots to ensure complete destruction. It is particularly effective against notoriously hardy species, including:
