A reliable, selective systemic herbicide for effective weed control in fodder beet crops.
Description
Protecting beet crops: user experience with Belvedere Forte Cs
When it comes to weed control in fodder beet, there is no room for error. I have been using 'Belvedere Forte Cs' as a primary systemic herbicide for some time now, and it is a reliable tool for eliminating common weeds like white goosefoot, pigweed, and chickweed without damaging the crop. As a selective herbicide applied post-emergence, it fits perfectly into my crop management routine.
Application and Performance
The product comes as an emulsifiable concentrate, which makes it very convenient for everyday field operations. It mixes well in the tank without clogging nozzles, which saves me a lot of time during maintenance and spraying. Depending on the weed pressure, I adjust the dosage between 1 and 3 liters per hectare, with up to 3 treatments allowed per season. The best results are achieved when weeds are still in the cotyledon stage.
Why I prefer this herbicide:
- High efficacy against stubborn weeds like shepherd’s purse and purple deadnettle.
- Proven formulation combining active ingredients from industry leaders: ADAMA and Bayer.
- Safety profile: excellent selectivity, ensuring the crop remains healthy.
- Ease of use: stable emulsion that doesn't settle or cause equipment issues.
Safety is a priority, so I strictly follow the 3rd hazard class guidelines, ensuring all personal protective equipment is worn during application. The quality of the formulation from German manufacturers shows in how consistently the product performs under various conditions. It is a no-nonsense, high-performance herbicide that keeps my fields clean and my production costs manageable.
