The efficacy of "Chaser - P" is based on the combined action of two key components: pendimethalin and terbuthylazine. This combination ensures systemic control of weeds in corn crops even before the emergence of the crop itself.

Pendimethalin belongs to the dinitroaniline class and blocks cell division in the meristematic tissues of germinating weeds. This creates a powerful soil barrier that prevents the growth of grasses and certain broadleaf species. Terbuthylazine acts as a photosynthesis inhibitor, targeting weeds through the root system. Together, they deliver a "double blow," preventing weed competition with corn during the most critical early growth stage.
