A synergy of two active ingredients for total control of broadleaf weeds in rapeseed and mustard crops.
Description
Technological superiority in systemic weed control
«Galera 334 SL» stands as a benchmark for selective protection of rapeseed and mustard crops. The product’s efficacy is built upon the synergy of two active ingredients: clopyralid and picloram. Unlike standard herbicides that target only the aerial parts of plants, this combination ensures robust systemic activity throughout the weed's vascular system.
The advantage of combined components
- Clopyralid (120 g/L): acts as an auxin-type herbicide, disrupting growth processes in the weed’s meristematic tissues. It is highly effective against Asteraceae family members such as thistles and chamomile.
- Picloram (80 g/L): amplifies the effect of clopyralid and expands the control spectrum. It is critical for managing stubborn broadleaf weeds, including common lambsquarter, cleavers, and black nightshade, which are common competitors in rapeseed fields.
The soluble concentrate (SL) formulation ensures immediate solubility in the tank mix, preventing sediment formation and nozzle clogging. The product penetrates leaves and translocates via the phloem to growth points, shutting down the weed's metabolism from within.
Practical application insights
Classified under hazard class 3, the product is intended for a single post-emergence application. Due to its selective action, rapeseed and mustard crops remain unaffected, while weeds cease competition for water and nutrients within hours of application. The application rate of 0.3–0.35 L/ha is sufficient to achieve optimal results when spraying equipment is properly calibrated. The systemic nature of this herbicide makes it indispensable in modern farming, especially where complete eradication of perennial weed root systems is required for high-yield production.

Depending on their ability to move through living tissues, herbicides are divided into contact and systemic. Contact herbicides cause local damage to plant tissue upon contact, which dies or gradually degrades. This action does not always completely destroy the plant; often, its... |
