"Hulk, EC" from "Vitagro Group of Companies" is a specialized graminicide based on the synergy of two active ingredients: fluazifop-P-butyl and quizalofop-P-ethyl. Both components belong to the aryloxyphenoxypropionate chemical class. Their combination provides systemic action: the product is rapidly absorbed by the weed foliage and translocated to the growth points, inhibiting lipid biosynthesis. The disruption of cell membrane formation leads to the rapid death of the grass weeds' root system.

Practical Field Application

This formula is a tool for selective control. Unlike non-selective herbicides, "Hulk" selectively targets only the grass components of the agro-ecosystem without suppressing broad-leaved crops such as soybeans, sunflowers, beets, or rapeseed. Due to its systemic nature, the product reaches the rhizomes of quackgrass (Agropyron repens), ensuring effective field clearance in a single application.

Technical Application Specs

• Formulation: Emulsifiable concentrate, which ensures high adhesion to the waxy layer of weeds.
• Application Timing: Post-emergence foliar method. It is optimal to apply during the active growth phase of weeds (from the 2–4 leaf stage to the beginning of tillering).
• Dosage: Ranges from 0.5 to 2.0 L/ha depending on the level of infestation and the weed spectrum (annual or perennial grasses).
• Target Weeds: Quackgrass, barnyard grass, yellow foxtail, wild oats.

The product belongs to the 2nd hazard class, which requires strict adherence to personal protective equipment regulations and environmental safety standards.
