Composition and mechanism

The success of NicodiGUARD lies in the effective combination of two active ingredients: nicosulfuron and dicamba. This synergy allows for the control of a broad spectrum of problematic weeds in maize fields:

• Annual and perennial grass weeds (including couch grass and barnyard grass).
• Annual and perennial broad-leaved weeds.

Operating as a systemic post-emergence herbicide, the active ingredients penetrate the leaf surface and migrate through the plant's vascular system, halting growth and development. Due to its selective nature, the herbicide effectively eliminates competitors without suppressing the crop itself.

Application practices
