Reliable systemic control of annual and perennial grasses and broad-leaved weeds in corn fields.
Description
Effective weed control in corn crops
Working with the herbicide "Thanatos," farmers get a tool that gives weeds no room for error, while treating corn crops with care. As a systemic post-emergence product, it acts directly through the leaf surface, allowing for precise intervention exactly when the problem reaches a critical stage. The main active ingredient, nicosulfuron, has proven itself excellent in controlling the most stubborn weed varieties.
What Thanatos tackles
Field practice shows high selectivity. It is indispensable for controlling:
- Couch grass (Elymus repens);
- Redroot pigweed;
- Field mustard;
- Shepherd's purse;
- Barnyard grass;
- Yellow foxtail.
A single application per season is enough to clean the field of these weeds. The consumption rate ranges from 0.5 to 1.0 L/ha, making it an economical choice for crop protection budgeting.
Operational features
The product is supplied as a water-suspension concentrate that is easy to prepare for application. Thanks to this formulation, the working solution is stable and does not clog sprayer nozzles, which significantly saves time on field equipment maintenance. It is important to note that "Thanatos" belongs to hazard class 3: this requires standard safety precautions but does not create excessive difficulties for the operator during work.
The Ukrainian originator, Center for Plant Research (Tsentr Doslidzhennia Roslyn), developed this herbicide taking into account the specific soil and climatic conditions of our region, ensuring highly predictable results. When the post-emergence application schedule is followed, the crop remains stress-free, helping to maintain the corn's yield potential at a high level.

Herbicides are classified according to application timing into pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides. Pre-emergent herbicides are mostly soil-applied or granular formulations applied before the emergence of crop plants. They are applied either pre-sowing (during pre-sowing cu... |
