Engineering design of the KPS cultivator

The KPS cultivator is a staple of soil cultivation technology, focused on intensive seedbed preparation and layer-by-layer soil loosening. The unit's frame is built from high-strength profile tubes, which is crucial when operating on compacted soil where vibration and mechanical stress reach peak levels. The structural rigidity prevents frame warping, ensuring uniform cultivation across the entire width of the machine.

Working tools and depth control

The core components are duckfoot shares mounted on S-type spring tines. This geometry provides a "vibration effect" during operation: the tines spring back, shattering soil clumps and pulling out weeds while preventing them from being "waved" over. The ability to adjust working depth (from 5 to 12 cm) via a screw mechanism on the support wheels allows for high precision. The hub assemblies are unified and designed to withstand long-term field loads without critical wear.

Field Performance

The rear section, equipped with spring-loaded harrows, handles the final touch: leveling the surface and creating a mulching layer. This prevents moisture evaporation, a critical factor for successful spring planting. The frame folding system allows for a quick transition from working mode to transport position, minimizing downtime during field movements.
