Technical Insights into the KPS Cultivator

Frame Engineering and Stability. The core of the KPS is a robust frame constructed from heavy-duty steel profiles. By distributing soil resistance evenly across the structure, the KPS prevents frame twisting, which is critical for maintaining a uniform working depth across the entire width of the machine, especially in heavy or consolidated soils.

Spring-Loaded Tine Mechanism. Reliability is the primary objective of the tine mounting system. Each working organ is attached to the frame via a spring-loaded mechanism. When a tine encounters an obstruction—such as rocks, thick roots, or compacted soil—the spring allows the tine to retract and then automatically return to the preset working position. Geometry of the Tines. The sweep-shaped tines are designed with a specific entry angle that ensures complete undercutting of weeds across the entire working width. Unlike lesser designs, the KPS geometry avoids creating soil ridges, promoting a perfectly leveled seedbed. This is essential for moisture retention and ensures uniform seed germination throughout the field.

Precision Depth Control. The depth of operation is managed through an adjustable screw mechanism on the support wheels. This design allows operators to fine-tune the KPS for specific soil conditions quickly. The ease of swapping out worn tines combined with the precision of the depth control makes the KPS a highly versatile and cost-effective implement for any modern farming operation.
