Argentinas lettuce is a head lettuce type Iceberg with large, dense, and uniform round heads. The leaves have a pleasant green hue with a beautiful yellow inner coloration and excellent layering, giving the plant an attractive appearance. The plant mass reaches up to 500 grams, and the leaf structure is smooth, tender, crisp, and juicy, providing an exceptional taste and high nutritional quality.

This variety exhibits high resistance to downy mildew (Bremia lactucae) of various races (1-16, 19, 21, 23), internal necrosis, and aphids, as well as complete resistance to powdery mildew. Argentinas is characterized by high adaptability and a long start-up period, allowing it to be grown both outdoors and indoors throughout the year. The variety is suitable for year-round cultivation from mid-March to October, making it versatile and convenient for various climatic conditions.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to maintain a planting density of 8-10 thousand plants per hectare and sow seeds at a depth of 1-1.5 cm. A key condition for forming a strong head is regular and properly regulated watering, avoiding water stagnation and soil drying. Crop care includes hoeing, weeding, and thinning seedlings as needed. Argentinas is known for its high-quality marketable product, long storage life, and excellent transportability, making it highly sought after for fresh lettuce use.
