EMERALD GIANT

Emerald Giant is a mid-late variety of head lettuce, distinguished by its excellent storage and transportability. The heads weigh between 250 and 500 grams, with leaves featuring a light green hue, a blistered texture, a tender and juicy consistency with an oily sheen. This variety is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic-covered greenhouses, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions.

The lettuce leaves are large, fan-shaped with a ruffled edge and a glossy surface, assembled into compact rosettes with a semi-upright form. They possess a characteristic crunch, lack bitterness, and offer an excellent taste. The variety is resistant to yellowing, bolting, and stem formation, ensuring a stable and high yield.
