LUXURIOUS BED

LUXURIOUS BED is a high-yield early-leaf lettuce variety that matures 35-45 days after sowing. The leaf heads are semi-erect, reaching a height of 20-21 cm and a diameter of 27-28 cm. The leaves are large, light green, oak-leaf shaped with deep incisions in the tip, wavy edges, oily, tender, and juicy. One plant can weigh up to 250 grams, with a yield of up to 3.2 kg per square meter. The variety is distinguished by its excellent taste qualities, high content of microelements and vitamins, as well as resistance to bolting and adverse weather conditions. The cultivation technique for LUXURIOUS BED lettuce involves sowing seedlings in March-April followed by transplanting into open ground in May at a scheme of 25x30 cm. Direct sowing into open ground in May is also possible. To obtain a continuous harvest, sowings are repeated every 2-4 weeks. When dense seedlings appear, thinning is carried out twice: first at the stage of one true leaf to a distance of 5-7 cm, then after 2-3 weeks with a spacing of 25-30 cm between plants. Care for the plants includes soil loosening, weeding, and rare but abundant waterings. Seeds maintain biological viability when stored correctly for up to 4 years.
