LYRIS

Lyris is a leaf lettuce variety of medium maturity, intended for cultivation in garden and vegetable plots, as well as in winter block greenhouses on low-volume culture. The leaf rosette of this variety is semi-erect, reaching a height of 19 cm and a diameter of 36 cm, while the rosette weight is about 240 grams. The leaves are of medium size, light green in color, bean-shaped with a vesicular and strongly wavy edge structure. The leaf texture is oily, which gives them a pleasant taste and makes the salad especially attractive for use in fresh dishes.

A feature of the Lyris variety is the increased content of vitamin E (tocopherol), which gives the leaves an oily surface. This vitamin has pronounced anti-inflammatory, anti-platelet, and vasodilating properties, and is also considered a cardioprotector, which makes the salad not only tasty but also healthy. Thanks to these qualities, Lyris is excellent for making fresh salads, sandwiches, and forming rolls.
