The Vigna unguiculata subsp. sesquipedalis variety GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY® is a highly productive mid-season variety developed at the GNU Krasnokutskaya SOS NIISKh of the South-East. This variety is characterized by an erect bush of medium height, ranging from 32 to 60 cm, and a vegetation period of 78-85 days. The seeds are yellow, ranging from round to angular in shape with weak ribbing, and have a mass of 1000 seeds within 230-280 g. The leaves are oval-oblong of medium size, the flowers are white, and the anthocyanin coloring is absent. The variety's pedigree includes Jubileiny /k-2405, which confirms its selective origin.
GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY® is distinguished by high resistance to drought, lodging, and shattering, making it suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The variety also shows resistance to Fusarium wilt and moderate resistance to damage by the legume pod borer.
