ROZANNA

The Rozanna chickpea variety represents a tall plant with a shrub-type bush, reaching a height of 55-60 cm. It is characterized by a medium maturation period with a vegetation period of 95-100 days and high attachment of lower pods at a level of 22-24 cm. The plant is resistant to lodging, which ensures crop preservation and ease of harvesting. All generative organs are densely pubescent with a straw color, and there is no anthocyanin pigmentation of the stem. Flowers are of medium size and white color.

The fruits of the Rozanna variety have a rhomboid shape and a golden-yellow color at maturity. Seeds are round, light yellow with a smooth surface, and the mass of a thousand seeds varies from 290 to 330 grams. The variety yield reaches 2.74 t/ha, making it highly productive among grain legumes. The variety is distinguished by high drought, heat, and hot wind resistance, as well as medium resistance to phytopathogens such as fusarium and ascochitosis.

Rozanna is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the middle belt, forest-steppe, steppe, and Polesie. The sowing rate is 110-160 kg/ha. High seed germination (about 98%) and germination energy (96%) ensure reliable and uniform plant development. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to adverse conditions, the Rozanna variety is an excellent choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality chickpea crop.
