Description
The ALBATROS oat variety is a medium-early spring oat with white and low-lying grain, ensuring high yields on various soil types. The vegetation period ranges from 70 to 92 days, allowing cultivation in all regions of Russia. The plant is low-growing with high resistance to lodging, exceeding standard varieties in this trait. The 1000-grain weight varies from 31 to 42 grams, and the grain size is above average, contributing to high yield and excellent test weight (430-520 g/L). Protein content in the grain ranges from 11.2-14.3%, making it particularly suitable for producing flakes and muesli.
ALBATROS exhibits high resistance to major oat diseases, including crown rust, bacterial burn, powdery mildew, red-brown spotting, as well as drought and lodging. On the resistance scale, these traits score between 6 to 8 points, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions. Agronomically, the variety requires early sowing with seed depth of 2-3 cm and seeding rate of 5-6 million seeds per hectare.
The yield of the ALBATROS variety has been confirmed by field trials: in the Lipetsk region, yields ranged from 66.4 to 74.1 centners per hectare over different years, significantly exceeding the regional average. High test weight, grain mass, and resistance to diseases and adverse factors make this variety an optimal choice for grain production and processing into food products such as flakes and muesli.

Overall bulb harvest per unit area. Depends on both onion variety characteristics and agronomic practices, fertilizers, and irrigation. Under optimal growing conditions, an onion yield of 100 tons per hectare and above is not considered record-breaking. |
