Description
Aruba F1 bulbs are large, round, with brown, strong, and glossy outer scales, diameter from 6 to 10 centimeters, and average weight from 120 to 250 grams. The inner part of the bulb is white, and the taste is medium-pungent, making this variety suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The tough outer scales in multiple layers reliably protect the bulbs during mechanical harvesting, helping maintain product appearance and quality.
The hybrid responds well to fertilizer application and drip irrigation, allowing yield to be significantly increased to 90-110 tons per hectare or approximately 1 million bulbs per hectare with proper care. Seed sowing is conducted at a rate of about 1 million seeds per hectare. Aruba F1 onion is suitable for cultivation in open ground and is highly adaptable, making it popular for both industrial production and home gardening.
