Lilly potato is a medium-early table variety of German selection developed by the company Solana. The vegetation period is 80-90 days, allowing it to be grown in various climatic zones, including cool regions with short frosts down to 0 °C. The plant is semi-upright, medium or tall, with green leaves of light green or green shade. The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 60-67 tons of marketable potatoes per hectare, and up to 15-30 uniform tubers per plant when the recommended spacing between plants is maintained.

Lilly potato tubers have oval or round-oval shape, average weight ranges from 50-70 to 96-167 grams depending on growing conditions. Skin is yellow with netted texture and shallow eyes, flesh is uniform, yellow or dark-yellow. Starch content is 12-13%, ensuring its versatility in culinary use. The potato has excellent taste qualities, classic, moderately sweet flavor, does not darken when boiled and becomes flaky. It is ideal for frying, baking, boiling, and use in salads.

Lilly variety shows high resistance to main potato diseases, including late blight, scab, alternaria, rust, potato cancer, golden potato cyst nematode, crinkly leaf mosaic, and leaf curling. It also exhibits good storability — up to 93%, allowing long-term storage even after washing. Lilly potato is adapted to various soils and climatic conditions, demonstrating stable yields with minimal fertilizer application.
