Polesky Rozovy is an early-maturing table potato variety with pink skin and creamy flesh, distinguished by its early maturity and excellent taste qualities. Tubers have a round-oval shape with small, shallow eyes, and the flesh does not darken when boiled and has a tender, soft texture that holds its shape well. This variety is suitable for diverse culinary uses, including salads, side dishes, mashed potatoes, casseroles, soups, boiling in the peel, and grilling. The potato’s flavor is characterized by sweetness with a slight bitterness, imparting elegance to dishes.

Polesky Rozovy exhibits good yield, reaching 310–480 centners per hectare depending on growing conditions and harvest time. The vegetation period ranges from 80 to 90 days, allowing for an early harvest as early as 60–65 days after planting. Plants are medium-height, well-branched, with red-purple flower petals. Marketable tuber mass ranges from 70–80 grams. Starch content in tubers is 13.9–17.4%, ensuring good technological suitability and taste quality, rated 3.3–4.5 points on a five-point scale.

The variety shows resistance to several diseases, including common forms of late blight, leaf and tuber phytophthora, alternaria, ring rot, common scab, iron-stained spot, and stem nematodes. Additionally, Polesky Rozovy demonstrates field resistance to viral diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation. Potatoes are rich in vitamins, minerals, dietary fibers, and antioxidants, including vitamin C, vitamin B6, and potassium, contributing to their nutritional value and health benefits in the diet.
