Description
Red Scarlett is valued for its high yield, which can reach up to 277 centners per hectare by the end of the growing season, as well as for its ability to produce two crops per season. The tubers have medium to large sizes, excellent market appearance, and high storability, allowing them to be stored until late spring without loss of quality. The variety is resistant to mechanical damage, which facilitates mechanized harvesting and transportation.
In addition, Red Scarlett has high resistance to a range of diseases, including potato late blight, golden nematode, phytophthora, viral diseases such as PVYn, and potato mosaic virus. These qualities make the variety popular among both amateur gardeners and professional farmers, suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine.
