Description
Fruits of the Aksay tomato have a round, slightly flattened shape and exhibit high uniformity in size and weight — from 140 to 180 grams. The external and internal fruit color is intensely red, indicating high quality and consumer appeal. The hybrid has excellent storability and transportability, allowing it to retain its market appearance during transport and long-term storage.
Special attention has been paid to disease resistance. Aksay F1 shows high resistance to tobacco mosaic virus (ToMV), Verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), Fusarium oxysporum race 0,1 (Fol: 0,1), nematodes (Ma, Mi, Mj), Fusarium radici (Fr), and cladosporiosis (Cf5). Thanks to these characteristics, the tomato tolerates adverse growing conditions, including temperature fluctuations, making it a reliable choice for spring-summer and summer-autumn greenhouse cultivation.
