Description
The fruits of tomato Aquarelle have a elongated, plum-like shape and bright red color at full ripeness. The weight of one fruit ranges from 40 to 120 grams, usually falling within 60-100 grams. The flesh is dense and fleshy, with two chambers and a small number of seeds. The skin is firm and resistant to splitting, making them ideal for long-term storage and transportation. Storage under cool conditions can preserve freshness for up to a month.
The variety is versatile in use: the fruits are excellent for making tomato paste, canning, pickling, and fresh use in salads and sandwiches.
