Tomato variety NEW RUSSIA is an early-maturing determinate variety, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant reaches a height of up to 130 cm and requires staking for proper formation and support. Leaves are of medium length, dark green, and inflorescences are intermediate, promoting good fruit development.
Tomato fruits have a cylindrical shape, dense and slightly ribbed, with a mass ranging from 60 to 90 grams. Immature fruits are green with a dark spot, while mature fruits develop a vibrant red hue. Inside the fruits, there are 2-3 seed cavities, and the flavor is characterized by good organoleptic qualities, making the variety suitable for both fresh salads and pickling.
The yield of this variety under plastic coverings reaches 7.2–8.4 kg per square meter, indicating high productivity. Due to its characteristics and versatility, tomato NEW RUSSIA is an excellent choice for private plots and dacha gardens.
