Description
The fruits of the New Vasyuki tomato are flat-round in shape with smooth or slightly ribbed surfaces. In the immature stage, they are light green without a dark green spot at the base, and upon ripening, they turn bright red. The fruits are dense, lightweight, and transportable, with 3-4 chambers and an average weight ranging from 96 to 150 grams. The flavor is good, making them attractive to consumers. The commercial yield of this variety reaches 25.8–28.6 kg per square meter, exceeding the yields of standard hybrids.
The New Vasyuki hybrid exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, fusarium, and verticillium wilt. This ensures stable yields and reduces the need for intensive plant protection. Seeds of this variety are packaged in 1000-count units and are intended for planting in open ground, making it a convenient choice for farmers and gardeners.
