Description
Tomato Pussycat fruits have a round shape and weigh between 120 to 150 grams. They are five-chambered with medium-sized chambers and relatively thick walls. Fruit color varies from bright red to deep pink, evenly distributed over the entire surface. The tomatoes are very tasty, juicy, and moderately sweet with a pleasant texture and unique flavor.
A distinctive feature of this hybrid is the presence of fine hairs on all parts of the plant — flowers, buds, fruits, leaves, and stems. This light fuzz serves as an effective protection against pests such as whitefly, aphids, and mites, and also helps prevent fungal, bacterial, and viral diseases. Thanks to this, Pussycat is resistant to tomato mosaic virus, bacterial disease, alternaria, fusarium, and tolerant to phytophthora. The fuzz also helps protect plants from sudden changes in temperature and humidity.
