ULLUBIY

Winter triticale variety ULLUBIY® is a highly productive hexaploid grain triticale variety developed through interspecific hybridization and individual selection. The plant features a medium-to-tall height up to 135 cm, an intermediate bush type, and a medium ear density with a white color upon maturation. The mass of 1000 grains is 46.1 g, indicating a high grain natural density (742-767 g/l). The variety is distinguished by its early maturity, heading 5 days earlier than the standard variety Brat, which allows for effective utilization in various agro-climatic conditions.

ULLUBIY® exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including brown and yellow rust, powdery mildew, loose smut, as well as high resistance to septoria and moderate resistance to fusarium ear blight and loose smut. The variety demonstrates enhanced frost resistance, drought tolerance, and medium resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yield even in complex climatic conditions. Average grain yield varies by region, reaching a maximum of 106.5 c/ha in the Stavropol region, with a potential yield of over 100 c/ha.

The ULLUBIY® variety is versatile in application: it is used for obtaining green mass for feed as well as for grain use in fodder and food purposes. Additionally, the grain is suitable for the production of bioethanol and flour, which can be used in the baking of cookies, cakes, and rye-style bread. Protein content in the grain ranges from 12 to 14%, further enhancing its value for the food industry.
