The pathogen is a serious threat to legume crops, primarily causing necrotic tissue damage through the production of enzymes and toxins during its colonization phase.
Host range and symptoms: The primary host of this pathogen is the common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris). Symptoms appear as circular or irregular brown spots on leaves, stems, and pods.
