Dange (Dange) is a pathogenic microorganism belonging to the group of fungal agents that infect a wide range of agricultural and ornamental crops. In modern taxonomy, this object is classified as a member of the kingdom Fungi, specializing in a parasitic lifestyle. Its presence in fields often remains unnoticed in the early stages, making it a dangerous hidden enemy of the agro-industrial complex.
This pathogen provokes the development of necrotic processes, manifested as spotting, leaf wilting, and premature tissue death. The primary hosts of the pathogen are cereal crops, open-ground vegetables, and some species of berry bushes. Damage to the vascular system leads to metabolic disruption, which significantly slows growth and reduces biomass productivity.
The biology of the pathogen is characterized by a complex life cycle, including an active vegetative growth phase and a dormancy stage in the form of resistant structures (spores or sclerotia). The pathogen can remain viable in plant debris, soil, and seed material for several seasons. The spread of infection occurs mainly through conidia, which are carried by air currents, raindrops, or pests.
Optimal conditions for mass disease development include a combination of high relative humidity (above 75%) and moderate temperature regimes. Dense sowing, insufficient ventilation, and crop rotation violations create a favorable environment for the epiphytotic spread of Dange. Under conditions of abnormal humidity, the duration of the incubation period is significantly reduced.

Upon reaching threshold levels of infection development, it is necessary to apply systemic fungicides that possess both protective and eradicating effects.
