The Mediterranean stunt nematode (Tylenchorhynchus mediterraneus) is a significant soil-borne pest belonging to the order Tylenchida and the family Dolichodoridae. It operates as an ectoparasite, living primarily in the rhizosphere and feeding on the outer cells of plant roots.
