Glacier toadflax (Linaria glacialis) is a rare herbaceous perennial plant belonging to the Plantaginaceae family. This species is highly specialized, adapted to thrive in the harsh environments of high-altitude alpine zones where survival depends on extreme stress resistance.
The plant originates from the high-mountain regions of the Iberian Peninsula, specifically being an endemic species of the Sierra Nevada. Its natural habitat consists of stony slopes and unstable scree, where it occupies ecological niches that are largely inaccessible to less resilient plant species.
