Ponderosa pine

The Ponderosa pine (Pinus ponderosa) is a prominent evergreen coniferous tree belonging to the family Pinaceae. Renowned for its imposing height and commercial value, it serves as a cornerstone species in forestry, widely valued for its rapid growth rate and structural timber quality.
