Apomictic seedling of the 'Memory of Salamatov' variety. Originator — Central Siberian Botanical Garden, SB RAS. Breeders: V.S. Simagin, T.V. Skorokhod. Registered in the State Register in 1995 for the West Siberian region.

Tree large, 6-7 m tall, with a rigid, moderately dense pyramidal crown, densely foliated. Bark gray-brown, rough. Shoots directed upward, brown, thick, straight; lenticels numerous, light brown. Vegetative buds large, narrowly oval; generative buds oval, pressed against the shoot. Leaf inversely egg-shaped, medium size, 7 x 4.5 cm, green, apex long-acuminate, base rounded-triangular, margin finely toothed, no pubescence; leaf blade flat, slightly curved downward; glands 3-4, large, yellow, bean-shaped; petiole 1.8 cm long, thick, pigmented. Flowers in dense racemes, 12-14 cm long, 35-40 flowers, flower diameter 17 mm, corolla saucer-shaped, petals closed, white, rounded-oval, stigma slightly higher than anthers, calyx wide-bowl-shaped, calyx lobes smooth; stamens about 20, 4 mm long, stigma 6 mm long. Flowering on one-year-old shoots.

Fruit weight 0.8-0.9 g, height 9.4 mm, width 9.5 mm, thickness 8.8 mm, rounded-heart-shaped; calyx wide, fine; apex rounded; skin color black, solid; flesh yellow-green with burgundy-red veins, tender, juice red; pedicel 1.0 cm long, thin; seed egg-shaped, slightly ribbed, weight 0.1 g, 13% of fruit weight, apex acuminate, base rounded, average detachment from flesh.

Fruits are single-dimensional and attractive. Flesh juicy. Flavor tart-sweet with astringency, good, score 4.4. Detachment from the pedicel is difficult. Suitability for mechanical harvesting is average. Resistance to fruit cracking is average. Variety of general-purpose use. Fruits suitable for drying, compote, and juice production. Fruits contain 37.7% dry matter, 9.7% sugars, 1.1% free acids, 9.3 mg/100g ascorbic acid.

Flowering in medium-early period, in Novosibirsk — mid-third decade of May. Ripening medium-early, uniform — mid-third decade of July. Enters fruiting on 3-4 year after planting two-year-old saplings. Propagated by green cuttings and grafting. Tree lifespan about 30 years. Self-sterile, well pollinated by other varieties of Prunus padus selected at CSBS. Yield 17-22 kg per tree, at planting density 5 x 3 m yields 110-145 centners per hectare.

Tree, shoots, and generative buds highly resistant to winter frosts. Flowers weakly resistant to spring frosts. Drought and heat tolerance medium. Resistance to Coccomyces, Clasterosporium, and Monilinia is high. Resistance to bacterial, viral, and mycoplasma diseases not studied. Resistance to gum exudation and calcium chlorosis is medium. Weakly affected by aphids, leaf-rolling caterpillars, and cherry slugs; strongly affected by Prunus padus slugs and hawthorn.

Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, good taste, mass, and technological qualities of fruits, ease of propagation, high stable yield.

Disadvantages of the variety: difficult fruit detachment, damage by sunscald.
